Is Morpheus8 the same as Microneedling?

Since the introduction of the groundbreaking Morpheus8 treatment, there has been some confusion around the similarity to traditional Microneedling. Although they are similar in some ways, there are reasons why the Morpheus8 is more effective and advanced than other devices currently available.

Produced by dermatological technology specialists, Inmode, Morpheus8 is the deepest subdermal technology available on the market today. The Morpheus8 is a brand new subdermal modelling device that can be used to contour and tighten areas of the face and body.

It is the first, and only, device to mould subdermal fat (fat below the skin) to morph the signs of ageing into a younger more youthful look. This treatment is already extremely popular as an alternative to other fine line and anti-wrinkle treatments available.

By penetrating deep beneath the layers of skin and fat, the device morphs fat and enhances the elasticity of the skin in the treated area. With incredibly precise depth and temperature controls, our practitioners can treat everything from fine lines & wrinkles to acne scars and the general tone of one’s skin.

The Morpheus8 provides unmatched results for all skin types, without causing any damage to your dermis.

Microneedling works in a very similar way to Morpheus8 but without the use of radiofrequency technology and precise depth and temperature controls. The depth of needling that Microneedling uses is a much shallower one than that of Morpheus8.

Using a stamp of fractional needles to penetrate the skin, Microneedling creates tiny breaks in the skin to encourage the body to heal and repair itself with new cells. The needling system creates nano injuries which stimulate the skin to heal and produce more collagen.

Similar to Morpheus8, when used for facial treatments, Microneedling can be used to:
